Break The Cycle Relay

On April 22-23rd our team will be running for the Break the Cycle Relay. This relay will run through every Main Street in Utah County. We do this run each year to raise funds to help sponsor new athletes in their fitness endeavors and to bring awareness to the opioid epidemic. The money helps us pay for race registrations, shoes, shirts, and other equipment. In early sobriety, most of our participants are faced with a lot of debt and court fines which can be stressful. We hope to help ease that burden for new athletes wanting to participate in group activities we do outside of our meetings. We are reaching out on social media in hopes of finding friends or family willing to sponsor an athlete. The goal is to raise at least $50 for each participant, $10 per mile that they are assigned to run. This run means a lot to our athletes as many have been on the receiving end and had race entries and shoes bought for them in early recovery. This is a chance for us to help give someone hope that they can make it too. Our goal is to help as many as possible break the cycle of addiction. If you can donate on our FB Fundraiser.
or you can Venmo @AddictToAthlete-Robinson and put a name and “BTC” in the comment section. Thank you for your support.
