“Today is officially two years since I was released from prison. After hitting 10 months, being free, that was the longest I had gone without my hands in handcuffs. Now I’m at over two years without my hands in handcuffs. On top of that I am over 4 1/2 years drug-free! That is the biggest accomplishment of my life! My clean time even outweighs the fact that I’ve literally Walked Across America and am still going! All in the name of Mental Health Awareness and Recovery! Today I also completed the Addict II Athlete Recovery Coach Training Certification. It covers so much than just addiction and I have been learning a lot. I can’t wait to use this to help me as I start speaking engagements around the country.” -Coach Edwards (Kyndal A Walking Testimony)

“Becoming a coach was important to me to help support my loved ones and friends in their recovery. I have learned many skills to lead and support people! It has given me an opportunity to find a place in the recovery community.” -Coach Davies

“Thank you for the opportunity to become a recovery coach. I wish I could’ve done more with it. But ultimately it helped me realize that what I really wanted to do was become a therapist…and for that I’m especially grateful. Not sure I would’ve made this leap into grad school had I not become a recovery coach. Crazy how life works sometimes. ❤️” -Coach Leishman
